Extraction.

Gehrlicher’s aim is to manufacture a broad range of phytoextracts for galenic further processing, primarily for pharmaceutical manufacturers.

Dried extract (extractum siccum) is a solid drug preparation – the thick extract (extractum spissum) is somewhere between a fluid extract and a dried extract, owing to its semi-solid consistency.

Examples are extracts from medicinal plants such as hedera helix or cistus and obtained from passiflora incarnata, pelargonium sidoides, plantago lanceoata or from thyme.

To create these, Gehrlicher produces all galenic forms
and also takes into account the desired customer specifications.
