At Gehrlicher, we produce tinctures tailored to customer requirements.
Our high-quality tinctures are made by extracting herbal raw materials using ethanol or ethanol-water mixtures. After a specified reaction time, the mixture is filtered to produce a clear and highly effective liquid. Tinctures usually have a dilution of 1:5 or 1:10 (plant to solvent), while fluid extracts are more concentrated, typically at a 1:1 ratio. However, tinctures have several advantages over fluid extracts, including better shelf life, greater stability, easier preparation and more versatility.

We ensure our tinctures are produced according to strict pharmacopoeia standards. We produce in line with the pharmaceutical standards of the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.), the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia (HAB) and other recognised international pharmacopoeias. We also manufacture according to the specifications of your individual registration or approval.
